Hey Boys and Girls!!

I hope you're all having a great week. The SpudBowl went awesome, so thanks to all of you for all your hard work. You guys did amazing!

This Sunday is the Super Bowl party! We will be meeting in the Gathering Area at 6:30 to watch the game, eat nachos, make some duct tape flowers, and have some Super Bowl Sundaes!! And...my favorite part...Duct Tape olympics at half time! Which one of you will take home the gold??

We will be having band practice Sunday at 5:00, so I will see all my budding rock stars there! And Tuesday we will be having Bible Study from 6-7 pm. We will be continuing our study on Moses....I know it's been a while, but you should all come out since this could possibly be the last Tuesday night Bible study pre-William!

Hey guys!!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out and helped last night with Grub!! It was awesome! I hope you all had a great time serving the community.

This Sunday is.....THE SPUDBOWL!!!! Don't forget to bring whatever item you signed up for (if you forgot, call me and I will remind you). Be there at 10:00 am so we can start getting those potatoes ready and decide who's going to wear the Spud costume this year! I'm thinking Becky, but I guess I'll let you guys decide :)

Since it will be such a long morning, there will be no evening activities, which includes band practice. But, for those of you in the band, be thinking of possible band names. We will take all your suggestions next week and then vote on them.

Tuesday's Bible study will be from 6-7 at Taylorsville and will be lead by Candy and Ryan....I can't wait!!

Hey everyone!!
I hope you all are having a fantastic Wednesday!! Here's the run down on what's happening over the next few weeks....Sunday is band practice at 5:00 in Holden Chapel and FaithWeavers is at 6:00. For the band, you guys have been doing amazing, and we will start working on Undignified this week, so be practicing. Tuesday we are helping out with Grub at the Grove from 6:00-7:30, so come help us serve the community and get your service hours for the mission trip.

Don't forget that next Sunday is the Spud Bowl!! If you haven't signed up to bring anything, the sign up sheet is in the youth room. I need you all to be in the kitchen by 10:00 am next Sunday morning to help out.

And, the Sunday after that is the Super Bowl party!! It's going to be lots of fun, so I hop to see you all there!!

I'm hoping that you guys have been keeping up on the blog and noticed I was slacking and just didn't want to say anything to avoid hurting my feelings :)

Hey All!!
Bible Study at Tim's last night was great! I'm so glad we could all get out together. Don't forget that we're going to Haylee's game tomorrow at 5:30...if you are riding with me, meet at the church at 5:10 and I will have you back in time for Choir practice. If you still want to go but weren't one of the 3 who were lucky enough to get to ride in my car, you can meet us there, it will be lots of fun!! Sunday we have band practice from 5-6...so excited! Can't wait to see how much better you guys are after another week of practice! Then we will be going to the YMCA for the party! There will be swimming and games, so bring your swim suits. If you aren't in the band, the rest of the youth group is meeting at the Y at 6 pm. Then on Tuesday we have Bible study here at Taylorsville from 6-7 pm. Bring you mission trip forms because they are due along with the deposit.
Also, don't forget to talk to your parents about the SPUD BOWL! I need you guys to sign up to bring stuff...this is my first one so make it easy on me :)

I hope you guys learned a lot about God's strength in your weaknesses last night. Surrender your weaknesses and insecurities to God this week, and watch for all the awesome ways He's going to be working through you. Here is today's challenge:
Memorize God's words in Exodus 3:12: "I will be with you." Remember this truth, especially when you feel inadequate, insecure, fearful, or weak.

Happy New Year all!!
I know our schedule has been kind of crazy over the last few weeks, but we are pretty much back to normal now! I hope you all had a great time at the overnight! Turns out, playing Underground Church in complete darkness is not nearly as scary as I thought it would be :)
Sunday is the first FaithWeavers of the year as well as the first band practice. I'm super excited for both. So, all my little rock stars in training need to be at the church at 5:00 for practice, and everyone else needs to be there at 6:00 for FaithWeavers. We are starting our new series called "Collide" and it's going to be awesome!
This past Tuesday we had our first lesson from our new series about Moses. Our first daily mini-lesson is at the bottom of this post, take some time this week to check those out and connect with God for just a few minutes a day. Next week, we will be meeting at Tim Hortons from 6-8 pm to continue learning about Moses. See you all then and have a great week!!

Hey all!!

I hope you're all having an awesome Wednesday!! I had a great time Sunday at the Family Christmas party! Thanks to everyone who came out, it was a lot of fun! We've got a lot of stuff coming up this next week. First off, Sunday at 5:30 pm is the meeting for the youth band. We will talk about the practice schedule and I will give you guys the music for the songs we will be playing. I hope to see all my super talented musicians there! Then Sunday is Youth Group from 6-8 pm, your Buckeye order forms are due, so please DO NOT forget to bring them in. I will be shopping for the supplies we need to make them next week and if I don't have your order forms, we can't make your buckeyes, so bring them in!! We will also be doing a service project, which will be a great time! We will be making fleece blankets to take to Children's Hospital, so if anyone is interested in helping deliver them, let me know. We will be going the afternoon of the 21st....I know you guys don't have school that day and want to spend some extra time with me :)

Tuesday is Bible study and I will be making dinner....this is our last one on the regular schedule of 6-8 pm, then we have the 27th off and will be switching to having Bible study from 6-7 on Tuesdays in January. The new calendar is in the youth room...make sure you get one!

This week we will be doing the last session of the Godview series and will be playing a few games.....NOT underground church....we're saving that for the overnight! Then Tuesday Pastor Tom is bring dinner to Bible study. Don't forget that this Sunday you guys can sell buckeyes and cookies in the gathering area of both the Taylorsville and YMCA campuses for the mission trip fund raiser. Be sure to collect the money when they place the order so they can just pick up the orders Jan 1st. We will be making what we sell at the New Year's Eve overnight, so keep in mind that if you aren't able to come help us make stuff, you can't sell, sorry.

Hey boys and girls!! Hope you are all having a fantastic week! There is a lot of exciting stuff going on over the next few months...make sure you're coming on Tuesdays and Sundays so you can stay in the loop :)

First off, we are doing a service project this Sunday, making Christmas packages for the homeless shelter, so come out to Taylorsville from 6-8 for snacks, funny videos, and lots of fun helping people in need. I will also be handing out information about the upcoming summer mission trip. I know you are all excited to find out the details, so come and hear all about it! On Tuesday we will be having Bible Study at Taylorsville from 6-8....hopefully with dinner! Email, call, or text me if you've talked to your parents and you're willing to bring dinner because as of now, no one is signed up.

We've got some other exciting stuff coming up too....Dare2Share is happening in March. Info on that was passed out last week, but if you didn't get it, see me. I am SOOO excited to be able to take you guys to this event, it's going to be so much fun! Also, we are participating in the family Christmas party this year, December 11th....but only to have some fun! Prizes will be awarded for the best Candy Cane costume! AND....we are having a New Year's Eve all-nighter!!! It's going to be AWESOME!! We might even introduce some no light, no cell phone underground church...with, of course, the exception of a flashlight for me....because I'm scared of the dark :)

It has been said that the Roman Empire ran on olive oil. It was used in cooking, bathing, medicine, ceremonies, lamps, and cosmetics. For decades, olive oil from southern Spain was shipped to Rome in large clay jugs called amphorae. Because of this, the first-century followers of Christ would have clearly understood Paul's illustration of the life of Jesus in every believer. "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us"(2 Cor. 4:7).
Our bodies, like amphorae, are temporary, fragile, and expendable. In our modern world that highly values outward beauty, we would be wise to remember that our greatest treasure is the life of Jesus within us. By God's grace and power, may we live so that others can see Christ in us.
We are just the clay pots. Jesus is the true treasure within us.

Hey yall! We're having youth on Sunday from 6-8. We're gonna walk over to Walmart and create some care packages for some soldiers in Afghanistan. BREAK DANCING IN ST. PAUL

Well, ok... that's not all there is to tell!

For the last few days we have been working hard in expected and unexpected ways. We have been serving at a nursing home taking patients to and from physical therapy, playing bingo, and just encouraging the residents. We have been working at Union Gospel Mission playing with toddlers and babies, hanging out with kids at the Boys and Girls Club West, and running a Kid's Club at a local church... whew!

We have also been making new friends from California, South Dakota, and Missouri. We have eaten an awful lot, laughed a lot, and spent a lot of time in devotions, prayer, and worship. It's been a whirlwind week and its hard to believe there are just a few more days left!

Tonight we spent some time at a local church having a picnic with community residents and THEN we went to breakdancing lessons, followed by a crazy break dancing competition. Yup, its true! We haven't had too much coffee or ice cream yet, but I'm sure we won't escape Minnesota without both. Just a few more days until we head home, hard to believe!

We've taken a lot of pictures, but unfortunately the internet connection at the church is pretty slow, so pictures are to come, but for now... we are all safe, happy, and learning an awful lot. We spent our church group time tonight talking about things God is teaching each of us in this place and in life in general. All of the youth had a lot to share about things they are learning and we look forward to continuing the journey. THanks so much for all of your support and prayers! We are blessed by you!!

We arrived safely in St. Paul yesterday afternoon. All that driving should have worn us out, but we arrived ready for adventure! We are staying at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Midway and although we wish they had airconditioning in our sleeping rooms we have gladly sardined ourselves in and made space for everyone else!

We are split into 3 groups that are serving in lots of different areas. Some of us started our week serving lunch at a homeless shelter, some worked at kids' club with area children, and others have been helping to build sets for Immanuel's VBS and weeding their flower beds. Tomorrow we head out to new work sites including serving the elderly, hanging out with children, and doing other things to serve and love the community of Midway.

We are tired already, but well fed, and happy to have discoverd that Caribou Coffee is just across the parking lot! Rumor has it Jamba Juice is just a little further....

Tonight we are headed out to Eagan Park to enjoy the fireworks, play in the park and generally try to stay out of trouble!

Now that we have discovered exactly where to sit to find the wireless signal in the church, more updates to come! Thanks for your prayers and love!

An uneventful (which is just how we like it!) drive west (and north!) has led us to Elgin, IL for the night, where we are having an "interesting" evening. We took the train into Chicago, we walked, saw the "big bean", walked, went to Navy Pier (where we didn't see the fireworks), we walked, we ate pizza (and random chinese), then we walked some more... with a little running thrown in at the end so we didn't miss out train. We're a "magically interesting evening" says Rachael... and here are some pics.

So we had such a good time this past Sunday at Glen Helen. Here's some pictures of some very muddy slightly damp kids and leaders and beautiful scenery. Thank you Dave for helping us drive you're awesome!

So we are having bible study tomorrow from 6-8 for a surprise dinner cause even I don't know what we're having yet! But yall should come otherwise we're not gonna see ya for a while. On Saturday your leaving on your trip and we'll miss yall but we know you'll have a great time!

And next month on the 24th we're suppose to have a service project. If I could find somewhere for us to go would yall be willing to go singing at a couple nursing homes or for some shut-ins? I know most of yall love to sing and it would bring so much joy to some people who physically can't go to church! And for those of you who can't sing you could like shake a tamborine or something :). Wow can you believe it's June? Mission trip is just around the corner and I hope yall are getting ready with prayer and finding your oldest clothes to ruin :)! So Ryan and I rearranged the June calender a little because of Father's Day and VBS so here it is......

Hello chillins! (That's southern slang for a whole bunch of kids btw) We're home from MI and we missed ya! BUT we aren't having bible study tomorrow so Lizzy can have a day to recoup :). We are though having a youth meeting on Sunday night from 6-8. Good ol classic youth group like in the days of the youth house :). Hey yall! Congratulations to all the confirmands....we're so proud of you. This week we're having bible study on Tuesday from 6-8 of course but no youth gathering on Sunday because it's Mother's Day. SO start thinking of some things yall could do for your moms! Get inventive it doesn't have to cost any money. Take a look at what all your mom does this week and see what you could take off her plate for a day or a few days. That's truly better than a present....trust me! Could you cook dinner for you family, organize a room, clean the bathroom really well, sing her a song or write her a silly poem? What ever you do I know your mom will love it cause it's from you! Happy Holy Week! We won't meet this week for bible study or youth to take time to be with our immediate families and focus on Christ who died to save US. Some verses for you to check out this week are from Isaiah 42:1-9 about the coming Messiah professed about 700 years before Jesus was born (awesome huh?) and all four gospels have accounts of the last supper, crucifixion and His triumphant Rise but you could read it in Luke 22-24. Scholars figure Luke wrote this about 60 years after Christ ascended into heaven while hanging with Paul when he was imprisoned in Rome and that Luke also wrote the book of Acts. So the book of Luke and the book of Acts are meant to be one book with two volumes. Anyway any questions you can call me or Ryan, Lee, Ashley or Geoff! Love ya!

Well, I am back from the land of slacker bloggers to update the youth blog. Since I missed the update for Bible Study already I will go ahead and let you know that we are having a "random night" at youth this week. Sunday night from 6-8 we will be doing a small service project, playing games, and probably eating junk food (and by probably I mean most likely). So come to the Taylorsville Campus for what we have in store. =)

Now, on to some Winter Retreat ridiculousness. The High School Youth spent the weekend at Camp Otterbein. There wasn't a whole lot of snow, even after all the ice and cold weather recently, crazy! None the less, we are always able to find someplace to slide down a hill, so here's what we have!

Rachel slid down the hill in style...

This is a perfect example... the girls had a great time with lots of laughter, but you can tell from looking behind them there wasn't a whole lot of snow to be found. Good times though.

Becky has never been able to figure out how to sled. I'm just saying, year after year we see the Becky really just likes sledding because she likes to make a spectacular tumble at the end and stop Carly's heart with tricks that lead to broken bones! (She hasn't broken anything yet, don't worry! YET!)

Jen also really likes to be spectacular when sledding... or maybe its just really dramatic. =)

Ashley, well, Ashley is willing to sled on pretty much anything. If you ask out loud "I wonder if we could sled on that", Ashley will head right over and let you know. Enertaining.

This year's Winter Olympics came mostly in the form of Minute to Win it games. Here, Taylor shows his skills with the snack cake stacking. Wasted some perfectly good fudge rounds and oatmeal cream pies, but he was really good at it. =)

Oh, we also studied a lot... about adventures, the road less traveled, being a disciple, and defending our faith. We also spent time reflecting on the idea that waiting for God could be a time when God does work in our lives and that testing grows our faith. Good discussions, lots of laughter.

We struggle to take a good group picture and of course, this one is a great example. Group picture? Let's start with dumping a whole bag of "hulless". Hahahaha.

Finally, a nice... almost composed picture. =)

FEBRUARY IS HERE! Lots of things are happening and lots of deadlines are quickly approaching... so keep these things in mind this week...

Tuesday: NO Bible Study. It is our usual 5th week schedule to take the evening off. Stay home, stay warm! OR come out to CPR and AED training in the fellowship hall from 6-9 pm. =)

Sunday: SPUD BOWL. You will be receiving a postcard in the mail with what you need to bring for your donation. THis is an "all hands on deck" event, so everyone is expected to come out and help. Spud Bowl funds many youth missions and outreach projects. Please wear a Sulphur Grove shirt and meet in the Taylorsville Kitchen Sunday morning by 10 am! We should finish by 1 pm.

PLAN AHEAD: Don't forget that your WINTER RETREAT REGISTRATION IS DUE BY FEB. 8th. NO EXCEPTIONS.

The DR...

Finally, here are some pictures of the youth and young adults who traveled to the Dominican Republic Dec. 26-Jan. 1. They did amazing work, laying 12 concrete floors in 4 days and mixing all of it with shovels in piles on the ground. They worked hard, laughed a lot, had important discussions, made plans, and of course, ATE. Here are some pics....

This is Abby and Rachel slightly over reacting to the large pile of concrete we were mixing. At the time we thought this pile was HUGE... with 8 wheelbarrows full of sand, 4 of another type of sand, and 4 bags of cement. Then we moved on to piles of 12 or more. Good thing we learned a lot as we went!

This is the first house that got a new concrete floor. It took us a while to get the hang of mixing and moving the concrete, but we did! This was the first and one of the larger houses that we worked on. Alberto and Jose were our "finishers" leveling and smoothing out our work so that the floors dried even, flat, and with a nice "shiny" finish on them.

Here is how we mix concrete... and how Taylor supervises to make sure it is done correctly.

Great job team!

Alison and Rachel spent a lot of time laughing and playing with the kids. They, along with other team members, made bracelets, painted nails, sang and played. Part of the challenge for the team at the beginning of the week was for everyone to not only serve the Batey but also to engage with and interact with the people who live there. The whole team took this challenge very seriously and everyone connected with the people in ways that will stay with them long after the cement is washed from their clothes.

THis is the truck that we rode in to Batey #9 every day. About a 40 minute drive over dusty, dirt roads. It was a crazy experience every time. We like to be silly about this too. Shocker.

We know that Cholera and Malaria are serious and deadly diseases. However, we also like to joke to each other about them. We saw this sign on the side of the clinic in Batey #7 and OF COURSE needed a picture. (Sorry its sideways! I uploaded without rotating! Oops!)

At night we would gather on the 3rd floor of the guest house to read and share our book for the trip "Make Poverty Personal." It was a great book to discuss and we learned a lot from each other, from the book, and from the Bible about our calling to serve and love those in poverty and how poverty is a part of all of our lives. It was a great opportunity to think, pray, and learn. It was also a great challenge for our ways of thinking. We definitely also had a lot of laughs on the 3rd floor, where we gathered for hanging out, talking, playing games and being silly and where about 1/2 the team slept in the open air.

Someone (or 3 specific someones) took about 2894 pictures of the goats that roamed Batey #9.

Here is one of them.

On New Year's Eve we spent the day letting Pastor Pedro show us the beauty of the southern coast of the DR. We went to various beaches and little walks through beautiful areas. Here are the youth and college agers on the beach in Paraiso. Beautiful!!

On New Year's Eve the ladies from the guest house cooked a big meal for us, moved the dinner tables out next to the (empty) pool and we ate until we were stuffed, laughed at Pastor Pedro's "stories" which he told partially in English and partially in Spanish- so we were never COMPLETELY sure what the stories were about, watched the bats fly overhead, laughed and ate more, and watched the sun set and the stars come out. A beautiful way to end our trip and close out 2010.

We had a great trip and an amazing experience. We've already talked about a return, and although we don't have any kinds of plans, we are very serious in our discussions about how to make our trip count, how to remember what we learned, and how to live lives that reflect what we have seen.

Well, its Christmas week (as you know!) and there isn't much to update you on for youth happenings this week. The Christmas party was a big hit with all (thanks Wenzels and Hunts for the special treats!). HOpefully you are LOVING your new special gifts from the white elephant. Lovely, lovely.

The Dominican Republic mission team departs on Sunday morning at 5:15 am from the Dayton Airport. Please keep the mission team in your prayers: Alison, Taylor, Jennifer, Mark, Lauren, Meg, Rachel, Becky, Emma, Peter, Nate, Abby, Andrea, and Carly. =)

**Youth Mission Team Meeting- Plans are in the works for a senior high mission trip to Barahona, Dominican Republic this winter. Tentative plans are to travel Dec. 26-Jan. 2. This trip will be open to youth who are currently in 9th grade and older (as well as some college aged youth). In order to decide if this trip is possible, we need to know who is interested. We will meet briefly on Sunday at 11:30 am in the youth room for discussion, questions, thoughts, etc. If you may want to join us, COME!

Well, its been a while since this here blog has been updated and so I now promise to do my very very best to restart the regular updates... that is, if you all are still checking! hahahaha!

Here's what's happening this week... but first, let me apologize for the fact that I didn't actually print out the event calendars for the fall as it said in the bulletin last week. HOWEVER, they will be there this week, so look for them! =) And now, a return to your announcements....

Tuesday: No Bible Study. Booo!! Come next week though for the fall kick-off BBQ and let us know what you might want to study this year. 6-8 pm at the Taylorsville Campus.

Sunday: Youth Night Out at Young's Dairy! YAY! The tradition has returned! Meet in the Taylorsville parking lot at 5 pm. Bring $12 for ice cream and mini golf. We will return at 8 pm. Don't miss out! IF your parents are willing to help drive, let me (Carly) know ASAP. I'll even hook them up with a free ice cream for their efforts!

It's been a long time since I have updated our blog. Sorry about that! It seems I haven't been in the office hardly at all these days so it has been hard to keep up to date. I appreciate your patience though!

Soon I will post some pictures of our time in Charleston, hopefully before we begin our trek to Tar Hollow. AHHHH!

None the less, here is what is up this week, so you should come on by and see us:

Plan ahead: Following Tar Hollow we will have a week of no youth programs as everyone heads back to school and gets into the swing of things. Our next youth event (after camp) will be on Aug. 22nd. We will be going to Young's Dairy for "Welcome Night" where we will welcome the new 6th graders into youth. If you have a parent who can help by driving, please let Carly know ASAP.

SOS Memphs...

SOS Memphis, June 20-26

8 youth (and 3 adults) traveled to Tenessee to work with a long time favorite mission organization... SOS Memphis. It was a trip full of memories...

We laughed, we cried, we worked hard. We learned important lessons... like shingles can melt, roof jacks save lives, sweat dries, and you should always replace your electrolyltes! We learned hard work bonds you quickly to new friends, we are weirder than we know, sitting on the floor is painful, and Carly can't dance. We learned that Rendevous can change your life, go-carts are not bumper cars, and laughter is good for the soul.

We also learned important lessons like... belief doesn't create Truth, just as unbelief doesn't uncreate Truth, worship with friends is amazing, and being the hands and feet of Christ isn't always easy. We learned that the choices we make come with long-term affects, and passion is fueled by learning... oh, and that shingles melt.

OH. And pictures will be coming this week... but these folks had and AMAZING week serving in Memphis Tennessee at SOS. They worked hard, sweated profusely, unshingled and reshingled roofs in sweltering temps, had good food (Daniel says it was life changing in fact), participated in amazing worship and were challenged by great teaching. Ask them about their time in Memphis! And check back here soon for pics from the trip, and (if I can figure it out) videos that will make you laugh!

First, thanks to all of you who helped with the Chicken BBQ on Sunday afternoon. IT was hot, sweaty, and messy, but you did a great job. Your work is greatly appreciated!!

Here's what's happening this week that you won't want to miss out on!

Tuesday: Bible Study at the Taylorsville Campus, 6-8 pm. Dinner will be hamburgers/hot dogs. Don't forget to sign up to take a turn to bring dinner. We wouldn't want this to be our "last supper". Know what I mean??!

Sunday: No youth meeting, Memorial Day Weekend. HOWEVER. Both Kelsey and Justin are hosting graduation open houses on Sunday. Information is available in the youth room. I know they would love for you to come and celebrate with them!

Plan ahead: Tar Hollow applications are now available on both campuses. If you would like to request a scholarship, please turn your paperwork in to me (Carly) or talk to me soon. Here is your update for what's happening this week at SG!

Tuesday: No Bible Study. It's Holy Week, so we will not be meeting this week. There are services on Thursday (Maunday Thursday) and Friday (Good Friday) at the Taylorsville Campus at 7:30. Join us there as we observe Holy Week and prepare for Easter together.

Next Sunday: No Youth Meeting, Easter Sunday.

Plan Ahead: There have been some changes to the youth calendar due to Godspell practices and various other activities. We will NOT have Bible study on April 13th. So, we will meet April 6th, 20th and 27th.

Also, if you would like to volunteer for the Spring Clean-up day at SG Taylorsville (this does count as community service hours for mission trips) it will be happening on Saturday, April 17th from 9am to 1pm. It's March.

Crazy.

I am sitting in my office with my window ope and flip flops on, getting ready to post to you some pictures from Winter Retreat, where there was snow, cold, cold, snow, bruises, etc. That was just 2 weeks ago. Crazy!

I am also thinking about summer. I just got off the phone with a woman from Minnesota who wanted to give me some information about possible trips for the summer. When the weather is warm(er) and the sun is shining, its hard not to think about spending some time outside (maybe in a canoe) this summer. SO, watch for more information about that, and let me know your thoughts.

Here is what is happening a little closer to now though!

SUNDAY: Youth Meeting during FaithWeavers, 6-8 pm. Dinner? Tacos MAYBE.

Winter Retreat

Winter Retreat... good times!

We went to Camp Otterbein... it was really cold... we sledded (?), got bruises, no one broke any bones. We had the first Trucker Olympics. We ate lots of good food and had Dairy Queen. We spent hours talking about why we are here, how God desires us to live, and what it means to be the church.

Good times, laughter, deep conversation, and surprising information was had.

Without further ado and in completely random order... here are some pics.

I like to title them: Some things that look really dangerous, and probably are, along with some things that don't look dangerous at all, but probably are!

If you missed retreat this year, put it on your calendar now for next winter... the weekend after President's Day at Camp Otterbein! Don't miss it!
