Hey guys!!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out and helped last night with Grub!! It was awesome! I hope you all had a great time serving the community.

This Sunday is.....THE SPUDBOWL!!!! Don't forget to bring whatever item you signed up for (if you forgot, call me and I will remind you). Be there at 10:00 am so we can start getting those potatoes ready and decide who's going to wear the Spud costume this year! I'm thinking Becky, but I guess I'll let you guys decide :)

Since it will be such a long morning, there will be no evening activities, which includes band practice. But, for those of you in the band, be thinking of possible band names. We will take all your suggestions next week and then vote on them.

Tuesday's Bible study will be from 6-7 at Taylorsville and will be lead by Candy and Ryan....I can't wait!!

Make your own list of everything God is. Use it to discuss how God is real no matter how tough life is with someone who doesn't believe in God or who's faith is weak.

January 22nd and 24th

Hey everyone!!
I hope you all are having a fantastic Wednesday!! Here's the run down on what's happening over the next few weeks....Sunday is band practice at 5:00 in Holden Chapel and FaithWeavers is at 6:00. For the band, you guys have been doing amazing, and we will start working on Undignified this week, so be practicing. Tuesday we are helping out with Grub at the Grove from 6:00-7:30, so come help us serve the community and get your service hours for the mission trip.

Don't forget that next Sunday is the Spud Bowl!! If you haven't signed up to bring anything, the sign up sheet is in the youth room. I need you all to be in the kitchen by 10:00 am next Sunday morning to help out.

And, the Sunday after that is the Super Bowl party!! It's going to be lots of fun, so I hop to see you all there!!

Here is today's assignment to go with our study on Moses:
Read Hebrews 11:1. Circle words that stand out to you. Think about what they mean. Pray that this kind of faith becomes true in your life.

Day Three, Four, and Five....

I'm hoping that you guys have been keeping up on the blog and noticed I was slacking and just didn't want to say anything to avoid hurting my feelings :)

Here are the daily lessons I've missed...

3. Doodle a picture of yourself. List 5 of your strengths and 5 of your weaknesses on the page. Thank God for making you just as He did.

4. How do weaknesses help you rely on God? Read 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. Write down: weak = strong. Put the paper where you will see it daily.

5. Pray this prayer throughout the day: "Everything I am, all my strengths and weaknesses, I give back to you. Use me for your plans."
