Happy Holy Week! We won't meet this week for bible study or youth to take time to be with our immediate families and focus on Christ who died to save US. Some verses for you to check out this week are from Isaiah 42:1-9 about the coming Messiah professed about 700 years before Jesus was born (awesome huh?) and all four gospels have accounts of the last supper, crucifixion and His triumphant Rise but you could read it in Luke 22-24. Scholars figure Luke wrote this about 60 years after Christ ascended into heaven while hanging with Paul when he was imprisoned in Rome and that Luke also wrote the book of Acts. So the book of Luke and the book of Acts are meant to be one book with two volumes. Anyway any questions you can call me or Ryan, Lee, Ashley or Geoff! Love ya!
PS Come to some special services this week!
Thursday at 7:30 communion and a little play at Taylorsville campus (need a ride call Candy)
Friday at 7:30 for Good Friday service at Brandt UMC
